I organized a three-day “Through My Eyes” event at Seattle’s Hutch School, where children facing life-threatening illnesses learned photography, documented their journey, and shared their photos with classmates and loved ones. Pulitzer Prize–winning photographer Jerry Gay—a true humanitarian—led the workshop. The Seattle Times covered the event, as did NPAA magazine spotlighting many of the children’s photos . Thanks to Glazer’s Camera, Panda Photo Lab, and Kodak for generously donating equipment. Volunteering on this project reshaped my perspective—helping others deepened my gratitude, presence, and appreciation for life. https://www.amazon.com/Seeing-Reality-Humanity-Humility-Humor/dp/1935359487
